The product was specified by the client as the new building is positioned next to a heritage Grade I listed building from the 18th Century. The client wished to give a juxtaposition of the new and old whilst also allowing for it to be somewhat in keeping, hence the choice of traditional hard metal materials. Although the Zinc currently gives a striking and somewhat modern appearance this will dull and age with time.
